south africans have a preference…

When it comes to the size of our televisions, we as a country have a preference and it’s big.

Recent consumer data revealed that the TV size that South Africans prefer above all is:

65 INCHES

Now that’s larger than the bog standard 32-inch HD Ready displays that flooded the market about 15 years ago.

If you travel up the continent you will see that the most popular TV size in countries like Nigeria and Kenya is between 50 and 55 inches.

Another important factor we consider as a nation is the available display technologies. Even though OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TVs have flooded the market recently, sales forecasts show that LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs will be the number one choice amongst local consumers.

there were a plethora of announcements made…

Disney held its annual fan event, D23 over the weekend and let me tell you we got to feast our eyes on some juicy, juicy new material!

We got news about some classics being remade and there were sequels all over the place!

Here’s All The Artists That Performed At The Olympics Closing Ceremony

there were a few heavy hitters…

The sporting showcase closed off this past weekend capping off an Olympics with highs and many lows. Many nations experienced Olympic glory for the first time in their history and other nations left the tournament empty-handed.

The closing ceremony was an occasion to behold with many artists performing—everyone from Snoop and Dre to Billie Eilish.

There was even a Mission Impossible-style entrance by Tom Cruise.
