That’s the question of the moment. In the age of ‘AI EVERYTHING!’ this question seems to be popping up more and more.

What’s real and can you tell the difference? I read an article in The Verge and it’s pretty grim when you see what people are doing with AI to catch people lacking and possibly get them into trouble or even worse cause mass hysteria.

The launch of the Google Pixel 9 range of phones was very indicative of where AI is going - pretty powerful AI hardware disguised as consumer-friendly products because if you really look at it, someone who doesn’t know any better or individuals with nefarious intentions can do real damage. Just look at these images below:

This was created using Google’s Magic Editor and potentially places the person in the picture in some hot water if someone takes it at face value - scary stuff.

Michael Jackson's estate received court approval to finalize the sale of half of his music catalogue to Sony for $750 million, a deal valuing the entire catalogue at $1.5 billion.

The California Second District Court of Appeal overturned objections from Jackson's mother, Katherine, affirming that the estate's executors have the authority to proceed according to his will. The court emphasized that this is a strategic business decision, not just an asset liquidation.

Sony's relationship with Jackson dates back to 1995 when it acquired half of ATV Music, which included rights to The Beatles' songs.
