It’s Samsung Products Galore!

from new phones to a ton of wearables…

Last week I mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event was taking place on the 10th and that there wasn’t going to be anything exciting being announced in terms of smartphones.

We got the new Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 respectively and as the leaks had alluded to, the designs are very much the same as the previous generations.

There are a few minor cosmetic changes and the customary performance bumps. Below are the official specs for each device.

Let’s quickly run through the wearables and audio products unveiled. We got two new Galaxy Watches and let me tell you, Samsung took a page out of Apple’s book and copied them with the new Galaxy Watch Ultra. See what I mean?

The Samsung Galaxy Buds and Buds3 Pro are a welcome addition to the Galaxy lineup and bring many new features for audiophiles.

Now we get to one of the more interesting announcements of the event, the Samsung Galaxy Ring. WHAT!? Yes! It's a smart ring.

This product vertical is largely dominated by a company called Oura, so seeing Samsung enter this category is exciting.

Some key features of the Galaxy Ring are the IP68 water resistance, heart rate monitor, skin temperature monitoring and a reported 7-day long battery. The ring will also come in 9 sizes to accommodate different finger sizes.

LA native gets ready to release his debut album…

Blxst (pronounced Blast) is set to release his debut album titled I’ll Always Come Find You on the 19th of July and honestly, I am pretty excited.

After years of hit singles, critically acclaimed EPs and mixtapes, we are finally getting a full studio project from the artist. I have been a fan since his song ‘Chosen’ featuring Tyga and Ty Dolla $ign blew up on TikTok during the pandemic and I have been rocking with his music ever since.

His voice is a mix of smooth RnB laced with Hip Hop credibility that’s reminiscent of 90s/2000s West Coast rap, melodic RnB and G-Funk flow. Take a listen to his hit single Chosen from 2020:
