Google Can Create A Podcast From Your Notes
didn’t think this day would come…
What is a podcast? Well, the Google definition is as follows:
a podcast is a digital medium consisting of audio (or video) episodes that relate to a specific theme. The hosts/people of a podcast are referred to as "podcasters."
The keyword here is ‘people’. A podcast usually has one or more people who record audio for people to listen to, but now it seems that is not always the case.
Ironically Google has released an experimental tool called NotebookLM which natively acts as a research assistant and allows you to pull key insights from information that you feed it, allowing you to research and learn more efficiently.
Users have discovered that the tool is an option to deep dive the information you train the model on and this allows you to process an audio file from the tool that scarily sounds like two people having a candid conversation.
This is wild because it sounds like two people recording a podcast.
I tried the tool and take a listen for yourself:

I just recently truly discovered Leon Thomas and I must say from the first time I heard the song ‘Mutt’ I was hooked.
Smooth RnB vocals over melodic beats with a touch of modern sensibility is a recipe for something everyone, young and old can listen to.
The opening run pulls you in and you’re transported to a sonic journey of vulnerability and self-awareness as the story of a man afraid to leap into love because of his commitment issues.
