Things are getting weird...

your weekly tech, internet and music update.

Google Is Really Cooking With This One
artists can be found shaking everywhere…

Last week I became aware of a new image-generation tool by Google called Whisk. It is currently an experimental tool that falls under Google’s FX Lab, the same team that brought us Gemini, the tech giant’s defacto AI iteration.
This image-generation tool works a bit differently from the traditional prompt-based tools.
With Whisk, you feed it 3 images. One that contains your subject, a second image that is your scenery and a third image that is the style you want the image to be.
Let’s break down the images I used to create the image above.
The Subject

The Scenery

The Style

so many memories
All these images combined (Captain Planet lol) made the header image you see at the top of this story.
Crazy right? You can try the tool for yourself here.
MUSIC
Drake Drops New Music
how was it received post super bowl?

When we entered a new day after Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl performance we got a love note from your friendly neighbourhood snitch, Drake.
He dropped an album with PARTYNEXTDOOR on Valentine’s Day called $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. This album sounds like ‘Mixtape Drake’. You know the one I’m talking about. The Drake that writes love songs about the girl that gave him a 2-second lap dance as she walked past him trying to get to her seat in the movies. lol.
It’s a 21-track album that has received largely mixed reviews with some saying it doesn’t seem like the real Drake album and that the real one is probably still on the way. That should say a lot about the general vibe of the album. Like I said it sounds like Mixtape Drake.
